In an effort to encourage greater understanding between Macau and Shanghai, Cheong Kun Lun College (CKLC) invited Fudan University and East China Normal University for a seven-day visit to explore University of Macau and this vibrant city. The cultural exchange programme facilitated exchanges of colleges, faculties, and students between the three top universities in Greater China. This cultural exploration programme offered students opportunities for personal and professional development, and aims to promote diversity on campus, thereby helping to fulfill the CKLC mission to provide an exceptional learning environment that prepare students for meaningful personal lives, professional accomplishments, and responsible global citizenship.

During the seven-day visit, the tour visited Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Business Administration, Faculty of Education, Students Affair Office, Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Faculty of Science and Technology, Faculty of Law, Institute of Chinese Medical Sciences, Institute of Applied Physics and Materials Engineering and many other facilities. To enrich students’ experience and learn more about the culture of the city, we also visited Yuet Wah College, Bank of China, Galaxy Entertainment, Macau Telecom and Macau Museum. The visits were very fruitful to all the students. For a great interaction between CKLC students and Shanghai students, HA organized College night sharing, Chinese New Year booth games and rock climbing activity (at Sports Complex) to welcome them.

At the end of the tour, students from Shanghai expressed their deep gratitude towards the efforts and great hospitality of Cheong Kun Lun College and would look forward to CKLC’s visit in Shanghai.
