Visiting period: May 24, 2018 – May 29, 2018
Cheong Kun Lun College (CKLC) and Meng Xiancheng College of East China Normal University (ECNU) organized a 6-day exchange summer study trip to Shanghai.
The trip in Shanghai concluded successfully. Our students had a great opportunity to interact with professors and students in ECNU and Meng Xiancheng College in particular. Our students attended various cultural activities and events to strengthen their team spirit, enhance communication and leadership skills and enrich knowledge about residential college.
In this trip, our students joined together with ECNU students to a number of cultural places for their experiential learning of Shanghai. Students explored many cultural places such as Yuyuan Garden, Xinchang Ancient Town and M50 Creative Park. Students were enthusiastic about the historical cultural visit. Other than visits, students also attended special talks arranged by ECNU professors on the history of Shanghai and development of the movie industry in Shanghai. Students find both special talks very interesting and were amazed on the cultural development of Shanghai.
On the last day of the trip, students did a great presentation on their experience and reflection of the 6-day exchange study trip. Students enjoyed such fruitful trip and we built great friendship with the students of Meng Xiancheng College. Meng Xiancheng College’s students also looking forward to their visit to CKLC in January 2019.
