International students go through different experiences than our local students. Due to the pandemic, some of them couldn’t come back to Macau while some others couldn’t go back home for a long time. In this semester, CKLC also welcomed 4 new exchange students. To better engage them into our college community, the Buddy Program in collaboration with the English Team, launches a “Me and My Hometown” Series. In the coming semester, international students, exchange students and their buddies will meet regularly to share the culture of their hometown. Last week, the first meeting was successfully organized. Students gathered together and got to know each other through games. Then Emily, the team leader who comes from Malaysia introduced the culture of Malaysia. Students enjoy the activity very much and are looking forward to the next sharing. CKLC strives for an inclusive and diversified cultural environment; we hope that no matter where they are from and where they currently are, international students are part of our family.
