Chinese painting is widely regarded the finest form of traditional Chinese art and reflects a profound philosophy. CKLC Chinese Painting Course with 8 lessons were offered this semester with the aim of facilitating our students to learn about and appreciate Chinese culture, and to pick up basic skills of Chinese painting. We are honored to have Macao famous Chinese calligraphy and painting artist Mr. Ieong Keang Sang as our course instructor.
中國國畫一直以來都是中國傳統文化的代表之一及富含深遠的哲學思想。爲了讓院生更多地瞭解中國傳統文化及提供機會學習基本的國畫創作技法，張崑崙書院在本學期推出張崑崙國畫班課程，並有幸請到澳門知名國畫及書法家楊鏡生老先生教導。
This course is designed for students with minimum experience, allowing them to learn basic techniques including how to handle the Chinese painting brush with ink, to execute brush strokes professionally as well as to develop skills to draw different subjects, especially four-gentleman (plum, orchid, bamboo, chrysanthemum), and in the final stage, picked up the Chinese painting techniques with colored ink.
課程的設計考慮到院生沒有相關基礎，先學習基本的毛筆技巧及國畫基礎知識，然後跟随老師學習創作不同類型的國畫（梅、蘭、菊、竹），最後學習使用中國畫彩色顏料作畫。
By the end of course, students were expected to submit at least one piece of Chinese painting of plum, orchid, bamboo, chrysanthemum, landscape or other subjects that fascinates them. The CKLC Chinese painting exhibition is based on students’ creation in this course.
課程結束的時候，院生需要提交一幅國畫作品，例如，梅、蘭、菊、竹、山水或其他院生着迷的主題。本次的張崑崙書院國畫展就是基於院生在該課程中創作的個人作品。

這幅國畫是在書院最後一節國畫課創作的，是這段時間裡對國畫的學習成果的展示。初次學習國畫，用柔軟的毛筆想要畫出充滿力度的筆調似乎有點困難。終於在練習過後畫出了自己尚且滿意的竹子，竹子清冷高潔的氣質是我所嚮往的，紅色的彩墨帶來不一樣的感覺，帶有少許秋日的蕭瑟又有點溫暖的氣息，想成為一個光芒內斂又溫暖的人。
