張崑崙書院系列講座之——“最高級的牢騷”於2022年3月5日下午在書院餐廳舉行，中華醫藥研究院陳修平教授在講座中分析了表達不滿的詩詞及其作者的遭遇， 書院師生約50人聆聽了講座。
據陳教授分享，仕途不順，壯志難酬，前路坎坷，古代人的煩惱和現代人並無不同。通過創作表達抱怨，成就了許多千古絕唱。更有甚者，只因詩人相貌醜陋，崇拜者與其相見後，竟永不讀其詩。
最後，陳教授鼓勵學生們面對壓力，調整心態，笑口常開，牢騷少發。
陳教授的研究方向為中醫藥，同時對個人愛好——古代詩詞也有深入研究。學生透過此次活動，可感受到中國傳統文化的博大精深和漢語的古典之美。院長張美芳教授也出席了此次講座。
One of the CKLC academic talk series—the Superlative Whining, was held in the college dining hall on March 5, 2022. Professor Xiuping CHEN from Institute of Chinese Medical Science analyzed some ancient poems with complaints and the poets’ experiences behind the poems.
With unsmooth career, unattainable ambition, bumpy road ahead, those poets had similar experiences as modern people. Complaints led to many masterpieces through ages. But if the poet did not have a handsome face, he might have an awkward experience. His fans would not read his poems anymore after meeting with him in person.
Finally, Prof. CHEN encouraged students to face the pressure, adjust mentality, laugh more often, and complain less.
Prof. CHEN’s research interest is Chinese medical science, but he has a deep understanding of traditional Chinese culture including ancient poems. Students can feel the breadth and depth of traditional Chinese culture and the beauty of classical Chinese poetry. The master of CKLC Prof. ZHANG Meifang also attended this lecture.
