Stanley Ho East Asia College (SHEAC) and Cheong Kun Lun College (CKLC) jointly organized the 15-day service-learning trip to Yunnan Jinggu Mountain and Minority Area, China from May 22 to June 05, 2018. Students had served in 13 different schools (8 primary schools, 1 middle school, 3 high schools, and 1 special school for handicapped kids) in the service destination. Our students had taught and interacted with more than 2000 local kids during this trip. Students reflected that this was an unforgettable trip in their lives and would recommend this meaningful program to other college members. Besides the intensive voluntary teaching and service, this program also includes visits to schoolchildren’s home, village life exploration, local cultural tours, etc.
